    BACON
I cooked Bacon for the first time ever today! Wow.
    Had a chicken+bacon burger. Mmm

Job interview at Endace went okish sort. I'm crap at interviews, so I might've blown it. Oh well.
Going back in to see HR lady about personality test crap on Monday

Went out drinking with Colin and Greig and people last night. Woke up with a hangover. The difference being this was a Good-Beer hangover, as opposed to the really really bad hangovers i've had after drinking Not Good Beer. It does make a difference!
Must not drink so much. x.x

    Religious nutcase watch!
    Failboat.
Admit your sins to God, priest tells gay judge.

A senior minister of a Sydney Anglican parish has made an extraordinary attack on Australian High Court judge Michael Kirby, warning he would face the wrath of God if he remained unrepentant as a gay man.

    CODE
    Mm, Well that was easy.
Just hacked up a C# app to autokill firefox (Which can be any process, really. If I add code to let you choose what processes to watch) when it's memory usage goes over a settable amount. (Firefox 3 beta chokes on google reader/flash sometimes and consumes 2GB+ of ram. Which is bad)

Gotta say, C# + visual studio 2008 makes this shit easy.

    HD-DVD!
Woo, scored two 360 HD-DVD players from work for $27 each..
    [info]lyctiger wanted the other one..

It's plug and pray in Vista and you can use it as a normal (HD)-DVD ROM drive.. Also comes with the xbox universal remote, which would be handy, if I had anything to use it with.

Had to install AnyDVD and a copy of cyberlinkdvd, since WMP doesn't actually player HD-DVDs. Which is dumb.

Might shop around and see if I can find any decent movies for it, but i'm willing to pay ~$15 for em. Sadly dickies is getting rid of their stock, but they're selling at 25-35 which is far too much.

There is the BBC earth series on HD-DVD, but it's still $85 which is far too much. I might wait to see if they reduce it all.

Today's Lesson: Killing children with Christianity
    <a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23809282/">Fail</a>

"The mother of an 11-year-old girl who died of untreated diabetes said Wednesday that she did not know her daughter was terminally ill as she prayed for her to get better. Madeline Neumann died Sunday from a treatable form of diabetes. Her mother, Leilani Neumann, told The Associated Press that she never expected her daughter, whom she called Kara, to die. The family believes in the Bible, and it says healing comes from God, but they are not crazy, religious people, she said."

    LIES.

"We are remaining strong for our children," she said. "Only our faith in God is giving us strength at this time."

Yeah, like how your god saved^Wkilled your other daughter? Yeah, you stay strong lady. If this were a better society the government would come take your kids away from you for neglecting them. But hey, it's a free country, right?

    Games. That Suck.
16 things that suck about video games
First thing that pisses me off on that list is the EXCLUSIVE SCREENSHOTS bullshit.
SHOW ACTUAL GAME PLAY. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

TF2 did this and I thought "No way, they can't be showing ACTUAL gameplay can they?" "Holy shit, They Are!"
He does have a point about the "starting off with shit" too.

Now, i've been a PC gamer all of my life. This is 2008. Why does consoles/handhelds still have FUCKING SAVEPOINTS.
There's no goddamn reason you can't save whenever the hell I want to! Even the PSP has a memory stick. I should be able to hit start and go "Save". But NO. Even the newest god of war (for the PSP) still has STUPID save points. WrongWrongWrongWrong.

My other pet peve is the INVISIBLE WALL.
This occurs in a crapload of FPS's and some RPG's have the "Ohnoes, a stone on the ground. I can't get around it!" bullshit
Along with that goes the "rickety fucked up door that's locked", except I can blow entire houses up. A fucking door shouldn't be able to stop me. What The Hell.

The less said about motherfucking crates, the better.

    Also, random hypothetical question here..
Say you have some random belief/law handed down to you by random skygod/whatever. Would you violate/break that rule to help out/save a friends life?

    If not/so why?
